Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) provides a unique opportunity to obtain high-resolution
images of the pancreas because of its close proximity to the stomach and proximal
duodenum. The application of EUS in pancreatic disease ranges from diagnostic
investigation to EUS-guided therapeutic intervention. Routinely, radial scanning diagnostic
